I teach workshops and present lectures about the beauty and importance of native plants, ecological landscaping principles and practices, and gardening to support bird and biological diversity. Our 21st century conservation paradigm must recognize the importance of carefully stewarding all landscapes— small or large, both public and private— and the engagement of all citizens in protecting our shared ecosystem.
